The clitoris is the most sensitive sexual organ (an erogenous zone)…
…extremely sensitive to sexual stimulation.
It is a very powerful sexual organ whose sole purpose is to give sexual pleasure… and one that is guaranteed to bring you to orgasms when stimulated.
When stimulated, the clitoris provides exquisite pleasure, results in a high state of arousal, and consequently leads to orgasm.
That said…
In this short post, I share with you how to pleasure yourself with your clitoris.
Let’s get to it.
How to Pleasure Yourself with Your Clitoris
There are basically two (2) ways you can do this.
Either…
- you rub the clit with your fingers… you lubricate your fingers and then you use the pad of a finger to rub the clit lightly from side to side, or in circles, or rub it up and down repeatedly.
- or you use a sex toy – a clitoral vibe… you lubricate the tip of the toy, then you rub the clit lightly from side to side, or in circles, or rub it up and down repeatedly.
…you start out (pleasure your clitoris) slowly, then gradually increase the pressure (press firmly into the clit) and tempo (go faster) as the stimulation progresses.
I go into detail.
Pleasuring yourself using your finger
You start out by lubricating your fingers with a lubricant. Or put a few drops on your clitoris. [Read: ‘How to Find Your Clitoris’]
You can choose to use saliva to moisten, but lubrication makes stimulation with a finger feel better… it will increase your pleasure.
Due to the clitoris’s extreme sensitivity, rubbing it with a finger without lubrication is not pleasurable. Plus, it can create discomfort when you rub it for too long.
Now, with a well-lubricated finger…
…you use the pad of your finger – either just your middle finger or both your middle fingers, or whichever finger works for you – to rub the clitoris lightly and slowly from side to side, or rub it in circles, or rub it up and down repeatedly.
(Know that the clitoris is usually tucked under a fold of skin (the clitoral hood), so you might have to pull back the fold of skin to stimulate the clitoris directly.)
But understand…
The clitoris is extremely sensitive – very, very sensitive to touch – that you might not be able to handle direct clitoral stimulation right off the bat (or in the beginning).
Most girls and women can handle direct stimulation of their clit, but some find it to be too intense when their clit is touched or stimulated too soon.
So generally, we rub the clit through the fold of skin covering it (the clitoral hood) without actually touching (or making contact with) the clit itself.
This (rubbing the clit through the fold of skin covering it without actually touching the clit itself) is enough to give you pleasure. Plus, it feels pleasurable to rub the clit this way because you stimulate two erogenous zone – the clitoral hood and the clit underneath – at the same time.
The clitoris is extremely sensitive and most girls cannot handle direct clitoral stimulation right off the bat.
Anyways…
If you’re going to stimulate the clitoris directly right off the bat…
…you will have to approach it (rub it) very gently.
You need to be gentle at first.
If it feels too intense for you as you stimulate the clitoris directly, then you will have to avoid touching the clit directly for now… and rather rub it through the fold of skin covering it.
Again, rubbing the clit through the fold of skin covering it is enough to give you pleasure.
Rubbing the clitoris through the clitoral hood without actually touching the clit itself is enough to give you pleasure.
Moving on…
On pleasuring yourself – stimulating the clitoris through its protective covering…
…you rub the clitoris (with its protective covering) lightly from side to side repeatedly – applying friction against the clit underneath.
Aside from rubbing the clit through its protective covering from side to side, you can also place two fingers (your index and middle finger or your two middle fingers) on each side of the clit and run them back and forth repeatedly tracing the length of the clit. [Read all about: ‘The Front Commissure… And the Female Sexual Pleasure and Arousal’ and ‘The Clitoral Shaft… And the Female Sexual Pleasure and Arousal’]
You can also tap the clitoris (that is, strike the clitoral area) repeatedly with the pad of your finger from time to time. This feels good.
You alternate your moves (your stimulation techniques) to keep things interesting. That means, if you’re rubbing your clit from side to side, you switch things up and rub it up and down tracing the length of the clit for a little while. [Read: ‘The 6 Types of Clitoral Stimulation’]
As you keep on pleasuring yourself…
…when you feel you’re getting more aroused, you can touch (rub) the clitoris directly. You use the fingers of your other hand to pull back the covering to expose the head of the clit, then you moisten your fingers with a lubricant or put a drop on the clit, then you press your finger into the clit and rub it in circles, or side-to-side, or up and down repeatedly.
As you get more and more aroused…
…you press firmly into the clitoris (either into the clit itself or on the clitoral hood applying pressure to the clit underneath), then you rub faster repeatedly.
If you keep at it, you will have an orgasm (a clitoral orgasm) in no time.

When stimulated properly, the clitoris provides exquisite pleasure, results in a high state of arousal, and consequently leads to orgasm.
Pleasuring yourself with a clitoral vibe
Clitoral vibrators are small and provide an intense vibration perfect for giving you the clitoral pleasure you need.
Now, just like how you stimulate your clit with your fingers, you do the same with the clitoral vibe.
You start out by applying a lubricant to the head of the toy.
Again, the clitoris is very sensitive, and direct stimulation can feel too intense for you…
…that said, you will have to rub (stimulate) the clit through the fold of skin covering it without actually making contact with the clit itself. Again, this is enough to give you pleasure.
You use the toy to pleasure the clitoral hood lightly from side to side, applying friction against the clit underneath…
…you can also run the toy back and forth repeatedly tracing the length of the clit.
And as you get more and more aroused, you press the vibe firmly into your clit (either into the clit itself or on the clitoral hood applying pressure to the clit underneath).
If you keep at it, you will have an orgasm in no time.
Stimulating the clitoris is essential for many girls and women to be able to orgasm.
So, there you have it…
